The visiting hours on both wards are ‘open’. However, we do ask that visitors:
- try not to arrive before 9am to allow patients and nurses to conduct personal care activities without any disruptions
- leave the ward (bays & side rooms) if a ward round is being conducted (to promote patient confidentiality) unless they are relatives and the patient/ doctor and their team wants them to be present
- respect patient protected meal times – at these times it’s all hands on deck to ensure meals are delivered to patients in a timely fashion and patients are helped by nurses where appropriate.
- leave by 9pm
