Introduction

Comprehensive diabetes outpatient service for adults (age 16+) with a confirmed diagnosis of diabetes.  Diabetes Retinal Screening service accepts referrals from 12 years of age.

Additional information

No Diabetes Paediatric service. No pregnancy and diabetes service – usually referred to Kingston Diaban unit for duration of pregnancy.  Patients requiring treatment for diabetes retinopathy – referred to Kingston Hospital Royal Eye unit. Patients seen in the unit may need additional referral to other specialities within the multidisciplinary diabetes team.
